Welcome to Balance Training

The ability to maintain the body’s center of gravity within its base of support, through an interaction of active and passive restraints imposed by the muscular system, reflexive actions imposed by the peripheral nervous system, and anticipatory feed-forward control imposed by the central nervous system (CNS)

Balance Stabilization

Improve reflexive joint stabilization contractions to improve joint stability. Isometric contractions lead to static compression of the articular receptors providing reflex joint stabilization

Balance Power

Require high levels of eccentric strength, dynamic neuromuscular efficiency, and reactive joint stabilization. Exercises are performed by hopping from one foot to another or performing hopping movements on the same foot.

Balance Maximal Strength

Dynamic eccentric and concentric movements involving the balancing leg through a full range of motion improve the neuromuscular efficiency of the full Human Movement System

01

Self-Myofascial Release

A flexibility technique that focuses on the neural and fascial systems in the body.SMR concentrates on alleviating myofascial trigger points and areas of hyper-irritability located within a band of muscle

02

Dynamic Stretching

Use of a muscle’s own force production and momentum to take a joint through the full available range of motion. Create multiplanar soft-tissue extensibility that is controlled by the CNS

03

Active-Isolated Stretching

Using agonists and synergists to dynamically move the joint through a range of motion. This creates reciprocal inhibition of the functional antagonists that results in greater ranges of motion

04

Static Stretching

Static stretching combines low-force and long-duration movements. It utilizes the neurophysiological principles of autogenic inhibition to improve soft-tissue extensibility, allowing for relaxation and concomitant elongation of muscle

05

Neuromuscular Stretching

NMS is based on influencing the neurophysiological mechanisms of autogenic inhibition and reciprocal inhibition by passively moving the limb until the first resistance barrier is noted

Metabolic Energy System Training

Metabolic energy system training is more than just training the aerobic energy system. To meet these goals, both the aerobic and the anaerobic energy systems must be trained
